Infographics – Using Graphics to Convey Info!!!

Over the past two weeks, I have had to opportunity to develop an infographic based on a topic of interest to me.

For those who may not be familiar with them, infographics typically attempt to streamline important points about a topic into a more visual format. They come in many varieties and cover a wide range of topics. In the past, I have seen a number in several locations around the internet and I have enjoyed reading through their content. Infographics have great classroom potential in almost every subject and content area. Both data driven concepts (mathematics statistics, social sciences), as well as creative concepts (creative writing process, engineering process, philosophy) can all take advantage of the use of infographics as comparative, organizational, or informational tools.  Continue reading
